Jillian Hennessy was born on 1968 on November 25, and is renowned as a gifted Canadian musician, actor and songwriter. Her contribution to American television are widely known. She was a star in American television series Law & Order, where she played prosecutor Claire Kincaid for three years. In Crossing Jordan she played Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons. Hennessy showed her talent in films that were independent, such as Chutney Popcorn or The Acting Class. Hennessy started her acting career alongside her twin sister as twin call-girls on Dead Ringers in 1988. She starred for a brief time on Broadway as part of Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story, and then delved into science fiction when she appeared as Dr. Marie Lazarus. She got her big break after the season ended after she was tapped as the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the hit NBC drama Law & Order. As a result of these roles she was awarded a Golden Globe Award in 2006 as well as an Emmy Award in 2007. Parker also won the Tony Award for Best Actress 2001 in Broadway's play Proof.
