Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress, who is primarily in Tamil as well as Telugu films, in addition to some Malayalam films. She was awarded an award called the National Film Award as Best Actress in the year 2018 for her portrayal of actress Savitri, who appeared in the Telugu movie Mahanati. Also, she has received three SIIMA Awards as well as an Filmfare Award South. Keerthy is the daughter of Menaka G. Suresh, film producer G. Suresh Kumar is a young actress. She started her career as a child actress during the 2000s, and later went back to film after studying fashion design. She played the role of lead actress in Geethaanjali which was a film in Malayalam. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). In 2015, Keerthy accepted her first films outside of Malayalam and was signed to appear in several Tamil films at the same time. In 2015 she released A. A. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam and Vikramprabhu against each other. However, the films were not a success at the theaters. In order to accommodate bigger projects, due to her crazier schedule, she was forced to opt from a few films which she then began working on. This included Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye (a love story) and Deekay's Kavalaivendam. She consequently was involved in two projects together with Sivakarthikeyan within a short time, Rajini Murugan and Remo, while also playing the leading role on Prabhu Solomon's Thodari, alongside Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to release in Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. The film was pushed back from 2015 with reports that the film will release after September, 2020 under the name Janakitho Nenu. The first film to debut is Nenu Sailaja in 2016, starring actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy was first seen on screen in Bairavaa (directed by Bharathan) opposite actor Vijay.
